EDUCATOR
ALL applicants must:
- be Certificate 3 qualified as a minimum
- be available for any shifts between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays
- have their own transport (not rely on public transport due to regulations requiring us to be compliant with staff to child ratios at all times)
- have a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- be able to follow directions, and work under the guidance of the Educational Leader, Centre Manager and Nominated Supervisor
- be willing to work to the National Quality Standards
- possess a sound level of computer skills, as we used a web-based program (Storypark) for our documentation
- be able to work as part of a Team
- be willing to join an established Team of professionals who take their job seriously, but who know how to have fun
- be active, honest, reliable and flexible
- hold a current Blue Card
- hold current First Aid/A&A/CPR Certificates
AFTERNOON EDUCATOR
We are also looking for an Educator to work from 2pm each afternoon (with some flexibility for earlier starts if needed) This Educator would be required come to work with one planned activity for our children each day, and assist with ongoing supervision, personal care needs and Afternoon Tea/Late Snack.
Applicants should:
- be Diploma or Certificate 3 qualified, or currently studying the same
- have their own transport (not rely on public transport due to Relief Educator needing to start at short notice, and Afternoon Educator leaving around 6pm in the Winter months )
- have a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, or be willing to learn with the mentoring and support of our Team
- be able to follow directions, and work under the guidance and support of the Centre Manager, Educational Leader and Director
- be willing to work to the National Quality Standards
- possess a basic level of computer skills (or be willing to learn), as we use the web-based program Storypark for our documentation and you may be required to use this at times
- be able to work as part of a professional, dedicated and caring Team
- be willing to join an established Team of professionals who take their job seriously, but who know how to have fun
- be active, honest, reliable and flexible
- hold a current Blue Card
- hold current First Aid/A&A/CPR Certificates
- be fully vaccinated according to Govt requirements
